News & features > It was a tremendous success from all points of view.
Attendance was good, and from the feedback we have received, everyone not only enjoyed the day but learnt a lot as well. This was in no small measure due to the quality of the speakers. Yes it was a very full programme with twelve experienced and highly qualified presenters discussing a range of topical issues.
We heard about the British retail standard which is to be introduced by Coles to monitor suppliers; received excellent updates on some quite complicated legislation from our three FSANZ speakers; listened intently to a presentation by the Qld Police Department on extortion and product contamination and saw the latest computerised information techniques in pest control, to mention just a few.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all who attended, our speakers, all those behind-the-scene helpers and especially our sponsors, whose support made the event possible.
The success of this event has guaranteed there will be more such conferences and we look forward to your continued support.
